Combining style and quality, classic and modern – the best in international menswear now.  After only two seasons, Jacket Required has already become an important feature on the international menswear map.

A combination of authenticity and sophistication, it caters the best of modern streetwear along with the best of today’s tailoring-inspired and heritage-based labels.

Jacket Required’s curational approach has given it a reputation for excellence not just among the domestic British buyer and brands, but internationally as well.

This season, our second, saw the trade show relocate to a larger space in order to house the increased number of participating exhibitors – from 38 to 98, among them over 60 brands from abroad.

“It’s partly about timing”, explains Craig Ford, one of the shows founders. “At the moment, there’s a great deal of interest in British brands, sure, but the menswear industry in the UK over all – the stores, the magazines, the websites, the customers and the designers – are all going through a very exciting phase right now as well.”

The countdown has already begun for the third show – 13th and 14th July. Again, held in Victoria House, Bloomsbury, historically one of Britain’s most fashionable districts, a slightly earlier schedule than previous shows.

“As part of an international and domestic calendar it’s important that we’re flexible” – explains co-founder, Mark Batista, “considering the scale and unpredictability of the London Olympics and Paralympics it was an easy decision to make.”

This year sees the London Games and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. Jacket Required London may not be the biggest event of the summer, but it’ll certainly be the best dressed.

See you there.
