Extraordinary Extras

There’s no real line between stylish dressing and stylish living. With a commitment to bringing together the best products for the contemporary gent, next month’s Jacket Required will be showcasing the season’s most innovative selection of accessory and lifestyle product alongside its unbeatable line-up of premium menswear and footwear brands.

You’ll find a full exhibitor list across all product sectors, along with visitor registration details for the show, on the Jacket Required website. But for now, here’s just a handful of the new and innovative names bringing true style into life from morning through to night.

Esme Winter

Based in East London, British accessory brand Esme Winter started life with a range of beautifully crafted stationery products, inspired by antiquarian books and mid-century modernism. At Jacket Required, the brand will be unveiling an extended range of crafted lifestyle products for a lifestyle firmly rooted in all things well made and well thought out.

Indulgent treasures such as hand-bound cloth notebooks are now being joined by items including woven ties and hand woven scarves, working with the UK's best makers and finest materials.

BRSH has a simple philosophy – to bring sustainability and style to the one item you’re guaranteed to use every day wherever you may be: the humble toothbrush.

With traditional plastic toothbrushes accounting for around 3000 tonnes of annual waste in the UK alone, BRSH offers a product ergonomically carved from Moso Bamboo, one of the fastest growing plants in the world and 100% biodegradable. With natural antibacterial properties the bamboo is grown organically in China by local farmers earning a fair wage, and is matched with durable curved profile nylon fibre bristles.

Knight Mills

Knight Mills is the new lifestyle venture from Welsh American designer Sacha Knight, whose childhood years in California led to a life-long fascination with both Native American culture and US military uniform.

The Knight Mills collection of rugs and mats are designed for the home, the road or a night under the stars, whilst the more recently launched collection of bags matches Native American-inspired woven fabrics with branded military standard cotton webbing labels and tooled British bridle leather. The brand recently strengthened its ties with men's footwear, collaborating with Pointer, also showing at Jacket Required this season.

Democratique Socks

Copenhagen based label Democratique Socks continue to offer a unique, covetable array of high-quality, affordable product.

It could be said that behind every great pair of shoes, is a great pair of socks. And so, along with showing its AW14 collection at Jacket Required next month, the brand also release its collaboration with Pointer Footwear. Delivering a no-nonsense, well-made collection that fit with both brands’ philosophy – another marriage made in footwear heaven.

The London Saddlery Company

Inspired by the classic government minister’s dispatch box, London Saddlery founder Aaron Yamoah set out to create his own range of attache cases which, like the iconic red case so famously associated with budget day, would truly stand the test of time.

As a keen horse rider he turned to traditional saddlery techniques and materials, with each luxurious piece in the new collection using 17 square feet of the finest Scottish full grain leather. Cases and folios are lined with 36 square feet of Chamel suede, whilst low profile locks ensure that this most classic of designs retains a minimalist silhouette.

Our invitation-only policy will again be in place for the next edition, open exclusively to buyers and press. Register your details to request entry to Jacket Required, 5 & 6 February 2014.
